Tesla Model 3 Clear Bra PPF

A Tesla Model 3 Clear Bra PPF (PPF is short for paint protection film) client came into us for a full front and rocker panel installation. We used Xpel ULTIMATE Plus PPF and added a full Xpel FUSION Plus ceramic coating application over the PPF, over the rest of the painted body, on the glass and rim faces. This is a common package we see other Tesla Model 3 clients get. With this type of package, the paint protection film will prevent the majority of rock chips and sandblasting from highway driving to the front end. In addition, it also protects where the wheels throw rocks back up on the lower section of the Tesla Model 3 rocker panels. The added ceramic coating will make this clients car easier to clean as well as helping it stay cleaner longer.

Xpel FUSION Plus Ceramic Coating

The Xpel FUSION Plus ceramic coating was applied, ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that is hydrophobic and can be applied to the painted surface of a vehicle as well as glass, rim faces, painted plastics and seats. Once cured, it forms a durable, protective barrier that shields the paint from environmental elements, small scratching from dirt, because it makes it harder for the dirt to bond to the car. Ceramic coating makes washing and maintaining your vehicle’s paint easier, as it repels water, dirt, and other contaminants. It also shields your paint from harmful UV rays, bug splatters, and bird droppings. This is especially important for Tesla vehicles as they use a water based paint which is not as thick as other pants and can easily be scratched and chipped. Added a ceramic coating will let you buff and reapply ceramic for as long as you own the vehicle without burning through the original paint.

Xpel PRIME XR Window Tinting

One service that wasn’t preformed on this Tesla Model 3 was window tinting. Although not completed at this point, we assume as spring and summer approaches and the sun begins to come out making it warmer, the client will come back for a window tint installation. The reason we say this is, Tesla vehicles are like little mini greenhouses and get very warm when in the sun as the whole roof is glass allowing the infrared heat to bake you. The Xpel tint we install is designed to keep you cool and protected for your daily drives or road trips. XPEL XR Black rejects 99% of UV rays and 78% of IR rays (the heat you feel on you when in the vehicle). We also offer XR Plus tint which has a higher level of heat rejection, it has 99% UV rejection and 96% IR reject.
